TP Financial Recruitment are specialist accountancy practice recruitment consultants and part of the Ten-Percent Group of websites, donating 10% of our profits to charity every year since 2000. We concentrate on the recruitment of permanent, locum and temporary accountants & finance professionals including Bookkeepers, Actuaries, Auditors, Accountants, Management Accountants, Paraplanners, Legal Cashiers and Accounting Technicians.
Where Do We Operate?
Our main focus is on the UK, with London and the South East being the busiest areas. However our head office is in Mold, North Wales (near Chester) and we regularly handle vacancies in many other parts of the UK, including Scotland, Northern Ireland, together with mainland Europe, Ireland and a host of offshore locations. We have worked in locations as diverse as the City of London, Plymouth, Carlisle, Cardiff, Leicester, China, Indonesia and the Isle of Man. Ten Percent Financial works with accountancy practices of all shapes and sizes. We specialise particularly in the recruitment of accountants for public practice. A good deal of our time is spent recruiting Client Managers and Senior Accountants with and without audit experience as these are usually candidates in a lot of demand from accountancy firms in London and the Home Counties. We also regularly assist with Accounts Semi-Seniors and Audit Semi-Seniors.

Ten Percent Financial Recruitment has been operating for over 15 years as part of the Ten Percent Group of websites, working across the UK and in particular around London and the South East. We are recruitment consultants with interests in the legal profession, finance and industry, chartered accountant practices and many more. One of the directors had been through the recruitment process, and discovered that there was a gap in the market for an online professional recruitment company offering a low cost, fast, hassle-free service for both candidates and clients.
We decided to call ourselves Ten-Percent on the basis that we uniquely donate 10% of our annual profits to charity, and since 2000 we have gone on to donate many £000′s to a range of charitable causes via the Ten-Percent Foundation.

How we work
We are already aware of a lot of vacancies and seek out new positions all the time. When you register with us, we let the firms in the area you seek employment know that we have a candidate looking for a particular type of work, and give them a reference number. If interested, they contact us, and we let you know the firm’s details. If you are interested, we contact the firm and arrange an interview for you, letting the firm know your name at that point.
We do not send out personal details, and never identify you prior to you giving us consent to reveal your name to firms. We spend a lot of time recruiting in London and the South East, but are also very successful in other areas of the UK.
We are different because
- We do not pressure candidates into accepting positions or interviews, but instead make you aware of the opportunity to speak to interested firms.
- We do not have a quota of CV’s to send out, there are no targets for us to reach, we do not employ salespeople to “sell” candidates, and we are pleased for you regardless of how you obtain work (ie with or without our services).
- We do not telephone candidates or clients constantly, bombard you with emails or turn up on your doorstep! We will contact you by email and text with new vacancies and a monthly newsletter, and apart from chasing for interview feedback we do not make it a habit to harass anyone.

Jonathan Fagan LLM, LLB (EU), Cert RP, FIRP is a Solicitor (non-practising) and Director of Ten-Percent.co.uk Limited. He studied law at Leicester University and Frankfurt University before training with a small high street practice in Leicester. On qualification he worked for a Chambers-listed firm in Nottingham, before taking a full time role in Ten-Percent Legal and Ten Percent Financial. He is married to Clare Fagan.
Clare Fagan Cert RP FIRP is a Director and Recruitment Consultant handling permanent vacancies for our Ten Percent Unlimited member law firms. She has been involved in the company since the start and has the fortune (or otherwise) of being married to Jonathan Fagan.. Clare is a qualified GP and is probably the only medically trained recruitment consultant specialising in accountancy and legal recruitment!
Pete Gresty Cert RP FIRP is a qualified and experienced recruitment consultant handling junior and senior vacancies across the UK. Pete has been with Ten Percent since 2007 and has worked with employers small and large.
