An accountancy practice based in High Wycombe is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their established team. Part of a network with 15 offices across the UK, the firm have delivered a passionate and professional service to thousands of SMEs over the last 10 years, and have exciting plans to grow the network. You will provide a key role managing the finance functions of the existing SME client base and work alongside the senior management team to help develop the business.

The firm are looking for an all-rounder with plenty of tax experience. This is very much a hands-on role and you will be expected to hit the ground running and work with a minimum of supervision. Your responsibilities will include the full bookkeeping requirements and management accounts production, quarterly VAT returns, statutory year-end accounts and taxation work along with cash flow and other ad-hoc reporting for a multitude of clients across a broad range of different industries using a broad spectrum of accounting packages. Working closely with clients and providing them with advice to ensure that they are running their businesses efficiently and profitably is key to how our business operates. You should have excellent communication and organisation skills along with experience of advising accounting and non-accounting people.

Both qualified and QBE candidates will be considered and several years of experience in accountancy practice is absolutely essential. A good working knowledge of cloud software packages is also a must for applicants.

This is a full time, permanent position. Salary is dependent on experience but likely to be in the £30-35k range.

Salary Range Minimum: £30,000
Salary Range Maximum: £35,000
