When you recruit through us there are five options as follows:
1. One-Off Permanent Recruitment
15% fees based on the first year salary or package. 3 month standard rebate. Option to pay monthly over 12 months with a 12 month rebate period at no extra cost. You can also elect to pay 10% fees over 2 years, paid monthly.
2. Retained Consultancy
Instruct us as a sole supplier for 4+ weeks, let us advertise the vacancy on your behalf and we discount our rates. Quotations available on request via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
3. Contractor Recruitment (Locums)
15% fees invoiced monthly. We are quite flexible on contract to permanent roles – and are always happy to agree a fee for candidates moving into permanent roles from locum/contract arrangements.
4. Unlimited Accountant Recruitment
From just £60 per month – this option requires you to sign up with us in advance of the recruitment process. 3 or 5 year term. Details can be found at www.tenpercentunlimited.co.uk
5. Sale, Purchase or Merger of an Accountancy Practice
We charge a fixed fee, agreed in advance, to the buyers of firms of accountants. No other fees are payable by any party.
Options 1,2 and 3 are success fees; you only pay us if we are successful in finding you a suitable member of staff and you employ them.
Option 2 is a tailored service to fit your requirements. We can pre-interview candidates, we can run an assessment exercise, commission your advertising, handle all inquiries, prepare and sift through application forms and negotiate any offers.
Ten Percent Unlimited (Option 4) is a monthly fee service – you pay to access the service whether you use it or not and whether we are successful in finding you staff, but there are no other fees other than . Since 2011 over 100 UK companies have signed up to option 4. We offer the service to law firms and accountancy practices.
We are not aware of any other recruitment agencies in the UK offering 12 or 24 month rebate periods or unlimited recruitment packages.
How do we compare with other agencies? Hard to tell! Most employment agencies will not publish their fee structure and are usually reluctant to release the information generally. Randstad charge 25% for placements over £40,000 salary. Generally we think the larger agencies tend to be around 25% and upwards for all aspects of recruitment, with the smaller recruiters offering anything from 25% down to 15%. Whether or not a recruitment agency will be successful in finding staff is another matter entirely…
Having read the above you may be wondering why we are called Ten Percent Financial Recruitment if we charge 15% fees generally for accountancy recruitment. Good question! We offer fees of 10% spread over 24 monthly instalments if preferred, but the main reason is because we donate 10% of our profits to charity every year.
